This Privacy Policy explains what information Zodaris (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use zodaris.com and app.zodaris.com (the “Site”) and purchase a reading, and how we use and protect it. The data controller is Zodaris.com, reachable by using Contact Form.
Information we collect
- Birth details — the recipient’s name and the date, time, and place of birth you enter. We use these solely to calculate the astrological chart and compose the reading.
- Email address — used to deliver your Product and send order-related messages.
- Payment information — handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last digits and card type, but never your full card number.
- Technical data — standard information such as your browser type and access logs, collected by our website and hosting in the ordinary course of operating the Site.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to create and deliver your reading, to process your payment, to send the Product and any necessary order communications, to provide support, and to maintain and improve the Site. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers we share with
To deliver the service we rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf: Stripe for payment processing, our email provider for delivering your Product and order messages, GeoNames for converting your birthplace into coordinates and a timezone, our web hosting provider, and the providers used to generate the reading’s text, artwork, and music. Each receives only what is needed to perform its function.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies needed for the site and ordering process to function. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect site functionality.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill the order and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Your online flip-book keepsake remains available for approximately one year after delivery and is then removed. You may ask us to delete your personal data sooner, subject to any records we are required to retain.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us by using a Contact Form and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under [16], and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
